  ANTHONY GRAY Cadastral Surveyor
Anthony Gray has over 22 years’ experience in the Surveying Profession in both the private and public sectors.

He is registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Licensed Consulting Surveyor with both Cadastral and Engineering Endorsements and is accredited with the Department of Natural Resources and Mines Queensland to endorse Survey Plans and completed a Graduate Diploma in Surveying Practice and Bachelor or Applied Science (Surveying) from the Queensland University of Technology.

From establishment through to completion he has extensive knowledge and experience, bringing enthusiasm, commitment and a professional manner to ensure your project is completed accurately and efficiently. His career has seen him work throughout Queensland and Overseas on projects ranging from rural and urban small scale subdivisions through to larger multi-staged and multiple use developments and Large scale Engineering Projects.

From Detail surveys to High Accuracy Control Establishment, Civil, Earthworks, Structural, Pipelines and high accuracy mechanical surveys Anthony has the experience and qualifications to ensure your projects achieve their objectives.

  GLEN SMITH Surveying Associate
Glen has been working in the Surveying industry for more than 20 years, and has been registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland for 15 years. While working for a number of firms throughout Australia he has gained extensive experience in a variety of areas, specializing in cadastral surveys, strata titles, subdivisions and the preparation of survey plans.

For the last 15 years, Glen has played an important role in the Hinterland Surveys team on the Sunshine Coast. His collective knowledge is used in a thorough and meticulous manner to ensure that all aspects of surveying are completed with precision and expertise.


Gavin has over 12 year’s extensive practical experience in the Survey management and successful delivery of resource and infrastructure projects.

Gavin's diverse range of experience covers small land development projects, low rise building set outs through to major infrastructure.


  JOHN KENNY Cadastral Surveyor
John has been working within the Queensland land surveying industry as a surveyor for over 28 years, specialising in property surveys and development. He is registered with the Surveyors Board of Queensland as a Cadastral Surveyor with an endorsement as a Consulting Surveyor.

Playing a critical role in Hinterland Surveys since 1993 when the business was first founded, John has been servicing the local hinterland community as well as the Sunshine Coast area for more than two decades. His expertise as a cadastral surveyor has built a respectable relationship with the local representatives of the State Government and Local Authority.

His involvement in a broad range of projects at a managerial and technical level in the fields of surveying and town planning has resulted in thousands of projects undertaken successfully throughout the Sunshine Coast region which is no small achievement. When comparing the number of property boundary planning applications lodged with the Sunshine Coast Council in 2013 and 2014, ensured that Hinterland Surveys applications were rated in the top three of all surveying, planning and engineering firms to receive approvals.
